team kelly...

I've been trying to blog about this for a long time, but I just wanted it to be perfect.  But guess what?  Ain't nothin' or nobody perfect in this world, so here goes!  

We have a flavor called "TEAM KELLY".  It is a caramel corn, drizzled in white chocolate (dyed purple) and milk chocolate, then lightly dusted with sea salt.  A portion of all purchases of this special flavor go to the Team Kelly Foundation, an organization that assist patients & their families in their fight against all cancers, in addition to raising funds & awareness for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PANCAN).  PANCAN's mission is to create a nationwide network of people dedicated to working together to advance research and support patients and create hope for those affected by pancreatic cancer.

Who is Kelly?  I can only say, that to me she was my sister, my best friend, my mentor, and my hero.  She was a bright ray of sunshine to all those who had the privilege of knowing her.  Although Kelly entered Heaven's gate far too early in life, she left quite a mark on this world and certainly on my little family...which now has become a BIG family known as TEAM KELLY!  

This Saturday, November 8th, TEAM KELLY will be participating in the Purple Stride.  If you would like to join or donate to our team here is the link.... Team Kelly Purple Stride .  This event is put on by PANCAN and has raised almost $500,000!  Their goal this year is $600,000 and TEAM KELLY is the top fundraising team raising over $40,000 so far!! 

Although the event is only 2 days away, and my lagging on posting this is unforgivable, you can still participate by buying up some TEAM KELLY flavored popcorn.  Crave will donate 50% of all TEAM KELLY purchases from now through December 31st.
